Today they said that Expedia’s new policy removing booking fees even from their call center transactions is a big deal for the airline business. That’s because without this fee, it’s cheaper to call Expedia than the airlines themselves!
It’s all good for consumers, but for these online travel agents, well, it’s gotta be tough losing a big source of revenue. But they would rather stay in business with less than wither way because they got greedy with fees.
