Airport Information

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is, impressively, the third biggest airport in the world. Larger than the island of Manhattan, at almost 30 square miles, it is massive to say the least. It serves as the largest hub for American Airlines, and hosts flights to and from 217 destinations. This includes 56 international and 161 domestic locations. DFW has five terminals, all in a semi-circle arrangement. This layout minimizes distance between airport parking lots and all gates. However, the layout does make connecting flights a long walk. Plan accordingly and allow yourself enough time for connection time. There is a monorail service between terminals called Skylink that shuttles passengers relatively quickly across the airport. Located just 20 miles west of the city center of Dallas, the airport is conveniently accessed through both public and private transportation options.
