Are you heading out on a journey for an extended time? Are you looking for a place to keep your car safe during your travels? While some people enjoy the convenience of LAX long term parking, leaving your car at the airport for more than one day can be extremely costly.
We’ve come up with a solution for those who want to drive themselves to the airport but don't want to pay the exorbitant parking fees of LAX parking. Off-airport parking is a great option for those who want to park at the airport. Many parking operators, not associated with the LAX, have parking lots near the airport, and they often have special deals for extended-stay parking. You can find these lots on our website by doing a quick and easy search. All available LAX parking lots will be shown, as well as their rates and ratings.
When it comes to long term parking, there are a few different options to choose from. Off-airport parking is generally the most affordable option for parking. There is indoor parking, outdoor parking, valet parking and curbside drop off services at the different parking lots.
If you’re parking at the airport, there are a few parking lots available for use. You cannot reserve your parking ahead of time, but you can estimate the parking costs on the official LAX website. You pay for LAX long term parking on your way out of the parking lot, and most major credit cards are accepted. The listed rates below are subject to change at any time.
Central Terminal Parking
When parking at the central lots, you’ll see that all of them have the same price structure. The first 15 minutes are free, but it is significantly more expensive for long-term parking. Regardless of where you park, you can expect to pay $5 for the first hour and then up to $40 for 24 hours.
Economy Lot E
This is LAX’s primary long-term parking lot. The Economy Lot E parking rate is $4/hour or $12/day. Economy Lot E is now closed until further notice, therefore the only options currently available on-airport are the central parking lots.
Economy Lot C
This lot is familiar to those who fly out of LAX often because it used to be the main economy parking lot at LAX. Travelers would have to take a shuttle to get to the terminals from this lot.The LAX Economy Lot C has been closed as of April, 2019. There are no plans to reopen the Economy Lot C parking lot.
Because the two main economy parking lots are currently closed, the only alternative to $40/day parking is off-airport parking. The most popular lots are within 1-2 miles of LAX Airport.
